It's all one of each but I'm Aphrodite.

You have to understand. You have to understand that love is one of each. Love is a fingerprint and a detailed face. It is a code that cannot be cracked. So don't compare and match it to another. Because then you'll have to leave room for disappointment. I guarantee you, you will be disappointed. Love is different. It can be referred to but never compared or you'll never find it. Be true to yourself if you seek love. Be open to surprises and foreign feelings. We all tremble when we see something we've never seen before, hear something we never have or feel something we never have. Love is not like any other, it has no synonyms or alternatives. It is pure and kind, but it is impure and harsh. It can be the same amount but never the same of it's contents. You can never love him how you loved her but it doesn't mean your love for her outweighs what you carry for him. Stop conflicting yourself, you will struggle and you will fail. Let love carry you and if you fail, you'll be better. You'll be stronger and aware, you'll be privileged to feel a love more than once. And you'll feel that it is different. And if you compare, you haven't healed. If you compare you're not ready.
Feel my plead as I scrape my knees on tar, awaiting what I've never seen. Taste the sun and feel the gold heave on your tongue so what only slips is pure and true. I saw the lie in belief and left room for a silver tongue. Trust issues they call it. That's what happened when I trusted you with everything. You were a love. Now feel my love. Everyone has it. Everyone seeks it. Some in the wrong places. And some in just the right places.
I am Aphrodite but yet to be awaken. I hear and feel but yet to see. Sometimes I live on paper but need a true loves kiss for eternal life. My ink cries for a soul to hold it down, tired of melting between the pages of forgotten books. I am Aphrodite, I will find your glass shoe if I have to and ripple through every city just to slip it back on your foot, I will seal my lips on yours so you flutter your beautiful eyelids, and I will step into light and let you see me as I am, uglier than an ogre and bigger than an ape, I will let you love me.
But...
What happens if Cupid, a Roman god of love in all its varieties shoots an arrow through Aphrodite's heart?
Nothing. A goddess of love couldn't be wounded by the winged infant.
But...
What happens if Aphrodite bats an eyelash his way? will he fall like the other ancient gods did for her? will he fall into the trap of his own curse?
There is no curse or blessing. There's a contradiction. Maybe a paradox.
